A healing work by Sam Hatzis to remind us of the importance of biodiversity and the delicate balance of life. The exhibition features one installation of 45 oil paintings on canvas. Total size 450cm x 200cm, and 10 collections of 4 Butterflies per set - 100cm x 80cm each.
Sam Hatzis was born in Sydney in 1961. He graduated Bachelor of Arts (Visual) from Sydney’s prestigious art school COFA UNSW with Distinctions in painting in 1986. Sam’s paintings have been exhibited at Art Express Travelling show in 1979 organised by UNSW. In 1985 he was selected as a finalist in the Art Gallery of NSW Travelling Art Scholarship. He has participated in many exhibitions and his artworks are widely collected in Australia and overseas. He is also well known for his contribution in establishing Paddington’s Gallery Savah that was active in the Sydney art scene from 1990 until 2012.
