Cloud Flowers by Corrie Furner
Cloud Flowers are magic, in imagining. They are messages of hope, optimism, strength, and inner peace. Cloud Flowers awaken memories, give solace to the present and cultivate dreams for the future. All great things have materialised from someone imaging, dreaming, wishing.
What do you wish? Have you ever rubbed the belly of a buddha? Did you wish upon a star? Did you make a wish blowing out candles or blowing the seeds off a dandelion in the search for love? What do you wish for others? What do you wish for self? It is hoped this work provides the time, space, and opportunity for you to wish. Please ponder and add your wishes to our collection.
A wish can offer meaning and solace during prayer. Wishes are not necessarily exclusive but are inclusive and cross many religions and cultures. Depending upon our age, country of origin, geographical location and family background wishes can be similar and wishes can be different. Our wishes can be for self, our wishes can be for others.
This project is an activation of our inner worlds at a moment in time. It is an attempt to realize and share our dreams, our hopes, our wishes, and fears. These fears can be the vehicle for wishing through the gift of adversity. Adversity as such gives us agency to reconsider our hopes and in doing so, we dare to dream. It gives us time to pause and to imagine our futures with a different perspective and with clarity. It is an opportunity to bring people together, to convey an unsaid message, to heal.
Tell me your wishes and I’ll take away your fear
