Joel Markham Exhibition - The Carnival of Souls

The circus’s colour, magic and mystery have seen it maintain a special place in the hearts and minds of people across both borders and time. In celebrating this, this body of work also floats the possibility of the circus being a metaphor for another realm - a realm that is interested in us all. Curious? Joel Markham is a photomedia artist who lives and works in Wagga Wagga. The Carnival of Souls is his fourth exhibition at The Curious Rabbit, following on from Mystères (2023), Suite 16 (2022) and Nocturne (2021). On this occasion Joel’s exhibition will be complemented by a circus-themed creative writing workshop on Saturday afternoon 12 April, and a not-to-be-missed Soirée on Sunday evening 27 April.
